Southwyck Projects
Update
The association continues to
work on projects throughout the community. Here are some areas
the Board has been working on. Please feel free to contact
us about concerns and requests at Info@SouthwyckHome.com.
RENOVATIONS - on the monument
entry into Southfield Village at Bentley & Morgan Road.
The monuments had to be adjusted due to shifting and unstable
soil. This required engineering surveys and City permits.
The next project planned is the Duesenberg at CR 89 entrance
along with the Versailles and Auburn at Southfork entrances
where lighting and brick restoration bids are being sought.
The picture below shows improvements
at the Southmanor entrance comleted earlier this year.

IRRIGATION - Section IV recently
replaced the 20 year-old irrigation system at the Morgan Road
park.
SOUTHWYCK LAKE
PARK - The latest upgrade is the covered and lighted pergola
shown below.

FENCE REPLACEMENT
- Fence bids are being
evaluated for the Southfield Village wood fence. The wood
fence replacement has been completed by Southwyck Community
Association for Southglen and Emerald Pointe on CR 89 and
on Fite Road. Recent
work on the Southglen/Emerald Pointe fence replacement is
shown below.
